Netherlands ’12. Utrecht

Utrecht isn’t an exception, also it’s a contrasts city. When we arrived by train, an enormous mall gave to us the welcome, and it wasn’t giving us clues of what was expecting for us out.

Utrecht has a population similar to the population of Valladolid or Vigo in Spain, but there the environment is different. You can’t stop thinking that you are visiting a village, not a city with 300.000 people living there.

Undoubtedly, the most impressive thing of utrecht is his cathedral. His gothic style is impeccable, majestic and fascinating. His exterior is vibrant and very powerful, and spectacular interior, though it is much simpler, does that you feel insignificant while you admire the beauty of the cathedral.

A part, the Dom Tower offers an amazing views of the city from a height of 112 meters, which, in days with good weather, allow to see even the city of Amsterdam.
